Buyers in Germany have to pay for a used home on average 5.6 annual incomes. Depending on the region, the costs to the individual, however, vary greatly - from 2.3 to 11.1 annual incomes, says the Association of Private Building Societies in Berlin and cites a study by Empirica Institute. This shows that a used home in the national average costs some 212,000 Euros – that would be equivalent to 5.6 average net annual household incomes.
