The workshops are a social facility of the Diakonie Kurhessen-Waldeck (Diakonie being the social services arm of the protestant church in Germany). Here, 360 employees with mental handicaps and multiple disabilities find meaningful work and become part of the professional and social life.

The non-profit association offers advice and support for young people and adults who are unemployed or threatened by unemployment:
